🐎 When chicken and beef no longer work
At some point the usual meats have been used up. The dog reacts to chicken, cannot tolerate beef, and the shelves are full of the same thing. That is exactly what updog Wuffwurscht Horse is for: horse is the protein source very few dogs have ever had contact with, and therefore the most common first choice in an elimination diet.
97 % muscle meat, 3 % tapioca as a binder. No grain, no gluten, no sugar. The ingredient list fits on one line.

❓ Frequently asked questions
Is the Wuffwurscht suitable for allergy sufferers?
In terms of animal protein, yes: horse is the only animal species in the product. Added to that is 3 % tapioca, a gluten free root starch that only serves as a binder. For a strict elimination diet, discuss the ingredient list with your vet practice.
Is this a snack or a food?
A snack. The sausage is a single ingredient feed and supplements the daily ration. It is not intended as a sole meal because it lacks important nutrients such as calcium. Count it towards the daily ration and reduce the main food accordingly.
How do I best cut it?
With a knife into slices or cubes. Small cubes are ideal for training, thicker slices as a reward in between.
How long does it keep after opening?
About four days in the fridge. Unopened it keeps for several months when stored cool below 20 °C, and it can also be frozen whole or in portions.
Why is there tapioca in it?
As a binder so the sausage stays firm enough to slice. Tapioca is cassava starch, grain free, gluten free and neutral in taste.
What is the difference to the sausage ends?
The Wuffwurscht is a fresh sausage with a high meat content and only one animal species. The sausage ends are dried offcuts with vegetables and herbs, more attractive in smell but not suitable for elimination diets.
Does it smell strongly?
A clear meat smell, but not overpowering. Easy to handle in the treat bag.
