updog Coffee Wood Chew Stick for Dogs
Splitterfreier Kaustab aus Kaffeeholz – koffeinfrei, kalorienfrei, sehr langlebig.
In your dog's bowl within 2 to 4 working days
🪵 Chewing occupation without calories, from the wood of old coffee plants
When the dog likes to chew and still needs to lose weight, every chew becomes a maths problem. Bully sticks and rawhide keep a dog busy but count towards the daily balance. And sticks from the woods splinter.
The updog coffee wood chew stick is neither. It consists of trunks and branches of retired coffee plants, a very hard wood that breaks down into soft fibres while chewing instead of sharp splinters. Branches removed, bark removed, sanded and air dried, nothing else.
And yes: caffeine free. The caffeine sits in the bean, not in the wood.
📦 What is inside

- ☕ Caffeine free: the wood is used, not the bean

- ⏱️ Very long lasting: lasts weeks to months depending on bite strength
- ⚖️ Not eaten: does not burden the daily ration
- ♻️ From residual materials: uses wood that comes from pruning anyway

Please offer only under supervision and provide fresh water. Replace leftovers that have become too small and damaged sticks. For dogs with sensitive teeth or dental problems, check with your vet first, the wood is hard.
✨ Why updog?
updog is our house brand for honest chews, made by people who have dogs at home themselves. For coffee wood that means: a natural product from residual materials, no varnish, no glue, no coating.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Is the wood really caffeine free?
Yes. Caffeine forms in the bean and leaf, not in the trunk wood. Only trunks and branches are used.
Does coffee wood splinter?
No. It frays into soft strips while chewing, unlike branch or twig wood from the woods, which can break with sharp edges.
May my dog swallow the fibres?
Yes, they are soft and harmless.
How long does a chew stick last?
Depending on bite strength several weeks to months. When it gets too small, please replace it.
Does it burden the daily ration?
No. The stick is worked on, not eaten, it provides practically no usable energy.
What is the difference to the chew root?
Both are plant based, splinter free and calorie free. The chew stick is elongated and easier to grip, the heather root is a compact burl and usually even harder. For very strong chewers the root is the more robust choice.
Is the product sustainable?
Yes. Wood from coffee plants that comes from pruning anyway is used, a residual material that would otherwise be disposed of.
