Anyone holding roe deer skin with fur for the first time is briefly puzzled. Yet it corresponds pretty closely to what a dog would eat from prey. The fur is indigestible and is passed again. The fur is not digested but passed again. So it is normal to find hairs in the stool afterwards. For dogs with known gastrointestinal problems it is best to start with a small piece and see how they tolerate it.

What is the difference to the roe deer skin without fur?
The roe deer skin without fur is smoother, leaner and a little richer in protein. The version with fur is more rustic, occupies for longer and brings more fat at 10 %.

Is it suitable for allergy sufferers?
It consists of a single protein source and is therefore suitable for elimination diets. With a known intolerance to game you should not feed it.

Is it suitable for small dogs?
Yes. The pieces are different sizes, smaller dogs simply get the smaller ones. Larger pieces can be shortened with scissors if necessary.
