Rosada is the trade name of a deep sea fish with pale, firm flesh. For dogs it is an unusual protein source, very few have had contact with it before, which makes it interesting for elimination diets.
Are they suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes. It is a pure single protein product without grain, sugar or additives. If your dog reacts to fish in general, it is not for them.
How many pieces can my dog have per day?
Dogs up to 10 kg 1 to 2 pieces daily, dogs over 10 kg 3 to 5 pieces. Please feed under supervision and provide fresh water.
Why is the crude ash value so high at 27 %?
That stands for the mineral content, mainly calcium and phosphorus from the bone parts. For dogs with kidney disease or on a mineral reduced diet, please check with your vet before feeding.
Suitable for puppies too?
From the fourth month yes, under supervision and in the recommended amount.
Do they smell strongly?
They have a natural fish smell, attractive to dogs, noticeable to humans. A resealable tin for on the go is practical.
