Purwell Cod Power Cubes 60g: Low Fat Fish Snack for Dogs

🐟 A training snack with 3.2 % fat: for dogs that have to watch every gram

In training, half the daily ration quickly goes by hand. For a dog that is prone to pancreas problems or carries a few kilos too many, that is exactly the problem: most treats are rich in fat, and the alternative would be not rewarding at all.

The Purwell cod power cubes solve that through the raw material. Cod is a lean fish, after drying 3.2 % crude fat remains at 79.5 % protein. So you can reward generously without blowing the fat balance. Composition: dehydrated cod meat. Nothing else.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Are the power cubes suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes. It is a pure single protein product made from dehydrated cod meat, without sugar, grain or additives. That makes them suitable for elimination diets and for dogs with intolerances. If your dog specifically reacts to fish, they are of course not for them.

How many cubes can my dog have per day?
The feeding recommendation is 1 to 10 pieces daily, depending on the size of your dog. Like every snack they count towards the daily ration and do not replace a meal, reduce the main food accordingly.

How big are the cubes?
About 2 cm edge length. As it is a natural product, size and colour vary slightly, some cubes are light, some a little darker roasted. For small dogs they can be split with the fingers.

Are the cubes hard or soft?
Gently dried, so firm but not rock hard. They break easily and are manageable for puppies and seniors too. They are not meant as a long lasting occupation but as a quick reward.

Do the cubes smell strongly of fish?
Honest answer: yes, a little. It is fish after all. Your dog will love it, your jacket pocket perhaps a little less. We recommend a small storage tin for on the go.

Why is a fish snack so rich in protein?
Because almost all the water is removed from the cod during drying. What remains is nearly pure muscle meat, hence the 79.5 % protein at only 7 % residual moisture. It is not a concentrate and not an additive, simply what is left of real fish.

How do I best store them?
Cool and dry, close the pack well after taking a piece out. You will find the best before date stamped on the packaging.
