Are they suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes. It is a pure single protein product made from cod, without grain, sugar or additives. If your dog reacts to fish in general, they are not for them.
How many pieces can my dog have per day?
According to the feeding recommendation: dogs under 10 kg 2 to 3 pieces daily, dogs over 10 kg 3 to 6 pieces. It is a snack and does not replace a meal, count it towards the daily ration.
What is the consistency like?
Semi moist and supple, not hard dried. The sausages can be broken with the fingers. They are therefore not meant as a chewing occupation but as a reward.
Do they smell strongly?
Clearly of fish, which is why acceptance with dogs is high. For the treat bag we recommend a sealable tin.
Does every dog really eat fish?
No. Most dogs like fish very much, some refuse it, the taste is less familiar than beef or chicken. If your dog is picky, test one pack first.
What is the difference to the horse kabanossi?
Same shape, different animal species. Cod is the choice when fish is tolerated, horse when it should be a rare meat. Practical if you want to alternate in training.
Why do the sausages look different?
Because it is a natural product. Length, thickness and colour vary, that is normal variation and not a difference in quality.
How do I store them?
Cool and dry, close the pack well after taking a piece out. Because the sausages contain residual moisture, this matters more than with hard dried snacks.
