Propolis is a natural product that bees make from plant resins and build into the hive. It contains flavonoids, phenolic acids and essential oils, and has been used in natural medicine for centuries.
Most propolis tinctures are alcohol based. For dogs that is unsuitable. The Purwell propolis solution therefore does entirely without alcohol: water based, with vegetable glycerine, without artificial additives and without preservatives.

💧 Dosage
Per 10 kg body weight mix 1 to 2 drops into the food or drinking water. Shake well before use, it is a natural product and natural sediment can settle in the glass.

What is propolis anyway?
A resin mixture that bees make from tree buds and their own secretions. In the beehive it serves as building material and a protective layer. It contains, among other things, flavonoids, phenolic acids and essential oils.
Why alcohol free?
Classic propolis tinctures for humans are made with ethanol. Alcohol has no place in dog food, which is why this solution is water based with vegetable glycerine.
How do I dose correctly?
1 to 2 drops per 10 kg body weight over food or water. Start with the lower amount and watch how your dog takes it.
Can I give it permanently?
It is a complementary feed and intended for daily use. Many owners use it in phases, such as during the coat change or in the cold season.
Are there dogs that should not have it?
Like every bee product, propolis can trigger intolerances. With a known sensitivity to bee products, in pregnant or lactating bitches and in dogs under veterinary treatment, please consult beforehand.
Why does something settle at the bottom?
Because it is a natural product without stabilisers. Sediment in the glass is normal, simply shake before use.
What does it taste like?
Propolis has a tart, resinous taste of its own. Most dogs take it over food without a problem, in drinking water it can put off more sensitive dogs.
